Started thru the numerous characters, and prepared PDF copies of each of the sheets. On the chance that there is interest in the current configuration of the team (and its very large size), here are the choices as decided by each player. Each is created in and being tracked thru Hero Lab, though I am likely going to turn over equipment management to each respective player.

Not much of an update at this time, I have been spending time working on supplements to support our particularly large Pathfinder campaign. Although we crafted characters last week, the biggest challenge was purchasing equipment and gear – there simply was not enough books and resources available. To that end, I have compiled a listing for available Armor, Weapons, and other Miscellaneous gear so that each player can review as time permits. I would really rather they track their own materials – it is time consuming enough for me to track the details of all of their characters. I am…

Both boys, busy with the Scouts, are headed to camp this weekend, giving me a rare “free” weekend with the wife. Not sure what we will be doing yet, its such an unusual occurrence. Most likely will just enjoy the quiet, though we are already making plans for after they return – considering trying to see Captain Marvel on Sunday.

I have been waffling a lot recently, with an on again, off again theory about changing the company which I work for. For the past many years, the current company has been going thru progressively aggressive cuts and layoffs, which adds to the stress and strain of life. However (thus far), I have been able to dodge or be immune to all the reductions. Unfortunately, it is only a matter of time – either the cuts will hit me, or the company will simply fold up – it is highly unlikely that it will end up recovering to return to…

I always try to do a little extra for the start of a campaign – sometimes I have managed to put together a short video summarizing the history, sometimes I create various props or other items. In the case of our Kingmaker campaign, I opted for the prop approach, not having much time to prepare a full video. To that end, part of the premise of the campaign is the group being granted Royal authority to explore and settle the lands. To this end, they of course require some sort of formal paperwork, so I created a Charter for each…

For our second major Pathfinder campaign, we have selected to run the Kingmaker campaign. This is partially due to the group’s expressed interest in above ground adventuring (compared to interior dungeons), and partly a factor of the time frame we have in mind. As stated previously, we are planning to start a new long term campaign once the 2nd edition of Pathfinder is released, which gives us about 6 months of a campaign. Kingmaker works well for this, since it is much more of a sandbox – there is no definitive end as such for the first few chapters (though…

Other than a coating of protective spray, the wookies are completed, and I am fairly happy with them. The blonde hair turned out better than I had expected, and Chewbacca darkened rather well, compared to his initial rather red look. The one area I am not so happy with is the aged wookie – it was intended to be a bit of grey in the fur, but I think I ended up going a bit overboard. I am not completely happy with it, but didn’t really have a way to fix it, short of going back to the base coat.…
