We have a bit of new activity this week, with a continuation of the Warhammer campaign, and a bit of the Mordheim backlog. Legion continues to be unavailable, scheduling and interest has been low recently, so we have been filling the time with Mordheim instead. With the new releases and re-releases, I am hopeful that will pick up again.
On the Warhammer front, we have the latest session of the Enemy Within campaign, where the group finally concludes the caves scene. After much adventuring and many challenges, their choices and actions catch up with them, and costs are paid. From here, they are headed back to Altdorf, with a few more scenes along the way before we wrap up the campaign.
On the Battle Report side, we have a double-feature of Mordheim this week, with part of our backlog being published. We have two battles, the Shadow Elves vs Ostland, and the Chaos Marauders vs Ostland – the same Ostland force just recorded during two different sessions. I also have a Restless Dead vs Beastman recording I will be working on next. Both of the current fights are shorter – the skirmishes were fast and deadly – which made the editing process that much faster.
For Pathfinder, we do have our next session scheduled this Sunday, but with the impending winter storm in our area it may be cancelled. The group is set to finish their investigation into the events at Varnhold, and try to determine the cause of the mysterious vanishing.
