There will be a short break in the Carrion Crown campaign, due to numerous scheduling conflicts. Our latest game was going to be this last Sunday, but cancelled due to the US Mother’s Day holiday. Our next game in two weeks will be similarly cancelled, since that is overlapped with my oldest son’s high school graduation ceremony. We will be resuming the game following that, on June 11, with the video posted by June 16. The Warhammer and Extinction Curse campaign are not being affected at this time, and the Star Wars Legion battle reports continue on schedule.

A major landmark for the final scene of the Enemy Within Chapter 2 adventure is the ancestral castle of the Wittgensteins, Castle Wittgendorf (located on the cliffs above Wittgenstein village). For the past several sessions, the group has been actively assaulting the fortress, first by sneaking in thru the old tunnels beneath and eventually emerging into the outer bailey. From there, the plan was to subdue the guards and allow their main force in thru the front gates. After several challenging fights, the plan thus far is going well, and the group has succeeded. However, with Foundry, maps are either…

Our ongoing Pathfinder 2e campaign for the Extinction Curse campaign is nearing the conclusion with episode 6 of The Apocalypse Prophet. The group continues their exploration of the Vale of Aroden, attempting (and succeeding) to complete all of the Trials. In the process, the enemy has become aware of their actions, and sends a war-party to stop them. For the first time in a long time, the group stays organized, works as a team, and really starts to come together. Session video posts on Friday, May 10, or is available now for Patreon supporters.

At this point, it appears that one of my group cameras for the RPG groups has failed, which is forcing a restructuring of my filming process. The camera is a Sony Vixia HF R800, which has served me well for the past 7 or so years, but right before game time I discovered that the sensor was only showing a rainbow pattern of static, and no video was visible thru the HDMI output. I tried a few options, but without success, and I am declaring it dead at this point. As a result, our Warhammer FRP session is missing one…

At this point, I believe the new template and construction should be done, I am rather liking the new look for the site. I spent a lot of time yesterday consolidating and eliminating outdated material, and re-organizing the menu of topics around my various activities. Hopefully this is helpful to find what you might be looking for, and might manage to help simplify my work streams. My next step is to start posting again regularly, though I am still challenged with the various platforms working together. I am not a fan of manually re-posting to each platform so I am…

Decided it was time for a renovation of the site, and a new coat of paint on the graphics. I have dropped the old theme (Verbosa), and swapped over to a newer theme (Mantra). Obviously, things have moved, but this has also allowed me to streamline a bit. No doubt it will settle down in a day or two, but until then please excuse any broken links or missing information. As always, I welcome constructive feedback and comments, let me know what you like or don’t like and I will see what I can do.

Since I have been sharing long term plans this week, the next on the list is our next major RPG campaign. In a couple of months (possibly earlier), at least one of our Pathfinder campaigns will be coming to an end (Extinction Curse), and I expect the Carrion Crown campaign to conclude by the end of the summer. As such, this leaves a gap in our schedule, and several of the players have been asking about the next storyline. In particular, the request has been for a more mature game – not necessarily adult in content, but more focused with…
