Battle report 125 is out today, with a showcase of the Imperial Probe Droids and the WLO-5 Repulsor Tank. George is playing the Empire this time, trying his hand at Grand Admiral Thrawn, while I bring the Rebels with Weequay mercenaries.
I have to say that George did a better job with Thrawn than I did, he is much more aligned to the play style and tactics. I instead opted for the Han and Chewy combo, one of my favorites, and they managed to do pretty decently.
The WLO-5 performed pretty well, its maneuverability and speed is pretty impressive, and the firepower is strong (though perhaps inconsistent). The Probe Droids on the other hand are mixed – they have a lot of potential, but I am not sure they were used entirely to their strengths. Both units deserve more attention in future games.
