As planned, we continued our most recent Carrion Crown campaign this weekend, and as planned, we Twitch streamed the game. Overall, no major issues with that, though as expected the audience was non-existent. Maybe that will pick up, maybe it won’t, not really a big factor since it is more of a curiosity. Following the game, I did some quick trimming, and then uploaded the session to YouTube, as part of the ongoing archive, that should be live now. Generally happy with this new process, isn’t too time consuming, and helps make the YouTube format more consistent. I am noticing some further audio issues – nothing too bad, but a background hum whenever someone is speaking. Need to spend some time cleaning that up.

However, to the subject of today, during the game it was brought to my attention that I have a notable lack of large creature miniatures. Specifically, as the group approached Castle Caromarc, they encountered and had to deal with several Trolls and their trollhounds, who had occupied the gatehouse. Plenty of electronic tokens in Foundry, but no actual 3d figures for the live group. Somewhere, I have some old Warhammer River Trolls, but they are lost in a box in storage most likely. And I was informed that this had been a gap in the collection for other sessions as well.

As such, I am now working on printing and potentially painting a collection of larger figures, Trolls specifically, likely Ogres, Giants, and other nasties in short order. Of course, while locating models for those, I found a number of other more unique ones that will be needed in the near future, so I got distracted by several of those. But Trolls, Ogres, and Giants are my focus for now. And perhaps a large Bear figure for the Druid…

If you know of a particularly good 3d print sculpt for any of these, let me know in the comments. Always looking for options.
