Landspeeder
Continuing my recent painting, and opted to spend some time on the old landspeeder. Still have several figures to go on and in the vehicle, but it is nice to finally have paint on this particular model. We decided to apply a snow-theme to all the Rebel bases, so eventually this will actually be more…

Super Tactical Droid
A second model I have been working on, and recent acquisition over the holidays, is the recent Super Tactical Droid. The figure was fairly simple to assemble, being just a basic droid, and I opted to paint it in more neutral colors (rather than a special pattern of the named versions). Nothing too fancy here…

Painting again
It has been a while, but with recent gaps in gaming, I am making some more progress on the painting backlog. My son and I are tackling more of the Legion troops, myself with a mix of Rebel and CIS forces, and George working on his Clone army. First up is an unlikely pair of…

Twilight Imperium 2021 results
As planned, we held our first (hopefully annual) Twilight Imperium tournament on New Year’s Eve. Although we had planned to start at 2 PM, it was pushed back to 5 PM due to player availability. All 8 players battled long and hard into the night, with us wrapping up due to exhaustion at 5 AM…

Battle for Galactic Domination
With the end of the year, a new tradition is attempting to be started, with a New Year’s Eve Twilight Imperium game. With a host of friends, some good food and decent drink, we are planning on a multi-hour game session of Twilight Imperium with the Prophecy of Kings supplement – allowing for 8 players…

Wednesday Legion
Another Wednesday, and a new Star Wars Legion game pitting the Republic Clones against the CIS Droids. Mission selection ended up with a “Intercept the Transmissions”, during “Clear Conditions”, and a “Roll-out” deployment. I was playing my unmodified Droids, while Thad was playing George’s standard Clone force. Terrain was decidedly “fantasy”, utilizing a fair bit…

Twilight Imperium
Planning on holding another game session of Twilight Imperium, sometime over the Christmas holiday. What better way to celebrate the spirit of peace and joy of the holidays, than to fight over galactic domination. At this point, tentatively looking at the 28th or 29th due to scheduling, but will really depend on player availability. Potentially…

Warfare Wednesday Redo
After the one-sided battle last week, we have challenged ourselves to repeat the battle, with lessons learned. Per our house standard, the victor (myself with Separatists) have not modified the force, while the loser (Republic) has made some adjustments. With those changes, a bit more time to analyze and consider the battlefield, and (hopefully) a…
