Gotrek Doomaxe and Drakki Trollbane

A second set of dwarves for my upcoming Dwarven Treasure Hunters warband, for use in Mordheim. These are Trollslayer Heroes, specifically Gotrek Doomaxe and Drakki Trollbane, a pair of disgraced dwarves eager to meet their death’s in glorious battle.

The painting was done exclusively with Army Painter colors, rather than relying on Contrast Paints. This leads to different details, mainly blended thru the use of Dark Shade.

This is my first real attempt at edge highlighting – I was happy with the results on the skin around the face, arms, and legs. My attempts at other pieces were less successful, or at least less noticeable to me. No doubt further practice will improve.
