Haven’t posted in a bit, mainly due to lots of distractions. If you have been following the YouTube channel, I have been posting some content over there a bit more frequently as it applies to the videos. I am happy to say the channel continues to grow, though that isn’t the focus of this post.

As a sideline, a while ago I re-launched my Patreon site. Lots of options, and at least in my mind, some value. Response has been tepid at best, which is not surprising given that it is actual cost.

At the same time, I occasionally create custom 3d printer models for various purposes, and always wanted a way to share them with a focused audience. For example, I have a couple of organizers for Star Wars Legion (a turn tracker, and a unit organizer), which I have started using during our games. I also have an organizer designed for our upcoming Twilight Imperium game on New Years (shout out for the live stream).

Together, these fulfill both goals – coordinate an audience, and bring value to Patreon. I added today a new benefit to any memberships, in that any designs, current or future, will be added to the catalog. Any Patreons are free to download and use the files for personal use. My request is not to share, distribute or sell any designs or prints, but that is really more of an honor system – it is impractical for me to really control that. Access is granted while you are a member, and new designs will be added from time to time, but its a small side perk for supporting our efforts.
