Dooku & Grievous force

Figured I would detail exactly what forces I have been fielding in the Star Wars Legion games, looking for any feedback or suggestions. As a newer player, I fully expect I am either using tactics poorly, or not fully understanding the options or mechanics. No doubt a lot is personal preference, but most of my current design was really based on model availability and ease of painting.

Thus far, the force has won 2 of 2 battles, so I have been rather happy with the results. Admittedly, each of the droids are destroyed down to the last clanker, but they manage to hold on just long enough to score victory points. Grievous and Dooku are a nice tag team, they move up the middle towards the enemy, with Grievous drawing the fire. Unfortunately the droid general has been obliterated twice now by the Emperor, but provides the opening for Dooku to finish the job. The AAT has been a mixed bag – it is sturdy, but is very limited against enemy armor. Against infantry however, it tends to do very nicely and can provide a solid long range punch, with a lot of mobility if needed.

For our next fight, the Empire is adjusting to more troops and less armor – heavily favoring snipers and range. This does make the Separatists take a more direct approach, I expect I will need to send the tank out in front to cover the advance. Hopefully, the armor can hold off the numerous shots it will likely be receiving.
