A second Father’s Day acquisition, the family supplied me with the Princess Leia mini for Star Wars: Legion. This is good, since the collection has been heavily favoring the Empire recently and the Rebels really needed some reinforcements.
Leia is of course a welcome addition, though admittedly the model is not the best. The face just doesn’t feel accurate, and the joints for the arms don’t match up completely. Some of the assembly may be my challenges with such small pieces, but other Fantasy Flight figures were far cleaner. Perhaps with a bit of green stuff, it could be cleaned up, but it is more than acceptable for our uses.
I understand the standard design of an outstretched pistol, though I am also finding the various figures a bit repetitive with a similar pose. Despite the combat game, I would have been fine with more of a thoughtful look, rather than the action pose.
