Seems the timer for my Amazon associates account is winding down. This is an option provided by Amazon, which trades advertising (in the form of associate links) for a small amount of revenue. Basically, if you follow a link from this site, and purchase an item from Amazon, I get a fraction of a penny. There is no cost to you – this is paid for thru Amazon themselves. However, it does require a “qualification” test – basically a trial period where Amazon judges if your site generates enough traffic to meet a minimum requirement (3 sales in 120 days).
Obviously this site is not high traffic, and the links I have shared, although I support the products, are rather specialized. As such, I have attempted and failed to pass the low bar of entry for the program a few times. Not a big deal, I can always re-apply, and continue the attempts.
However, on the off chance something I have listed is of interest to you, consider taking the time to follow the link rather than selecting it on Amazon independently.
