Starting our Shadowrun campaign this weekend, now that we have sorted out the basic training. Schedule is for the game to start at 2 PM EST on Sunday, and we will play likely until about 7 PM. This will continue to be thru the Roll20 virtual tabletop, and I continue to plan to broadcast the sessions.
For this first session, the focus will be on introducing the characters, and starting with a simple and straightforward intro mission. From there, we move into the larger campaign, for which I have most of the first 2 full adventures programmed and ready to go.
From a technical perspective, we are going to switch up a bit, and likely drop Discord as a video chat option. The initial testing was promising, but once we have a full group, it was more problematic – the audio was crackling and filled with static, and the video picture is so small as to make it irrelevant. I will be working on re-arranging my overlay for the stream, but at this point, the plan is to use the built-in Roll20 interface alone for audio and video. Fingers crossed that it will be a bit better.
