Star Wars: Armada – squadron trays

As I continue to tinker with the 3d printer and create miscellaneous tools for various games, I created what I believe is a fairly nice tool for Armada, specifically around the use of Squadrons.  A common issue is that when you have to adjust damage, it is difficult to adjust the model, without moving other pieces and putting it back down accurately.  So I had seen an idea which created a tracking system that stays on the sideline, but allows for the same tracking.  My modification, beyond designing a new template entirely, is that rather than using custom dials and such, I take advantage of the numerous miscellaneous counters that come with the game.  This allows you to track a squadron type, and several figures, without having to mess with figures on the board.  You still track activation on the ship, but that is easy enough during movement.  This accounts for defense tokens, and structure points.

Not sure I am going to post it to Thingiverse, I am toying with the idea of making this an actual product instead on a site like Etsy.  More to come.
