Laser Cut Hobby Paint Storage Tray, (SVG) design plans

Do you have your own laser cutter? If so, these plans will let you reproduce my paint rack design on your own, and modify the design for your specific needs. This is the complete technical file for use in the software of your choice to cut and create a paint rack.

This design is sized for 5mm Maple MDF (available from Menards) – please validate the thickness of yout material in case adjustments to the design are needed. Plans include designs for dropper-bottle style as well as Citadel style “pots” – mix or match each shelf as desired for your needs. The basic design holds up to 48 Citadel-sized pots, or 88 Dropper Bottle style (Army Painter, etc).

Final assembled size is 10.5 inches (265mm) wide, 11 inches (277mm) deep, and 4 inches (102mm) tall at the back. Assembly will require glue for the tabs.

Note – some adjustments may be needed for your specific machine and material. Be sure to doublecheck the burn power and speed, and adjust slots if needed. My design is based on 5mm Maple MDF (available from Menards) – any thicker or thinner material will need adjustments.

With these plans, you are authorized to craft as many copies as you wish for personal use. This is not a merchant license, you may not reproduce for sale or distribution, and you may not sell or transfer the plans, with or without modifications.
