Posted the latest Carrion Crown episode today, for publishing on Friday. As usual, don’t expect much of an audience, but we are continuing to fine tune the audio and video. Audio remains solid, video is an improvement with multiple camera angles. Given the recent drama over Dungeons and Dragons and Wizards of the Coast, there does seem to be at least some increase in Pathfinder content, though we have not seen a large wave for our group. No matter, the group is enjoying the story and the experience regardless of any audience. For the story, the group is deep under…

With my recent re-organization of the YouTube channels into a more focused format, I have been seeing a surge in interest in our Star Wars Legion content. Admittedly I didn’t post any game sessions over the holidays, so there was a bit of a lull, but with new sessions going live, we have added a number of new subscribers. As always, I welcome all new members to the crowd and community. Slowly but steadily the channel continues to grow towards the target of 1000 subscribers (and beyond). As expected, the Pathfinder and Warhammer content isn’t nearly as exciting or growing…

As of yesterday, Atomic Mass Games has released the new version 2.5 of the Star Wars Legion ruleset. As a result, we will be converting our video battle reports to the new ruleset, with our next games. In the meantime, there is a bit of a lag as we have 2 videos already recorded but not published yet. In general, the rules are basically the same, except for a handful of changes already previously announced by AMG. Panic now makes units stationary instead of fleeing, and Forces with fewer activations can now pass. The one unexpected change that I spotted…

Managed to finish editing down a second episode of Legion and post it to YouTube actually ahead of schedule this time. It should be auto-published next week Friday without issue (available early on Sunday to any Patreon supporters). This is a second Separatist vs Empire battle, with George adjusting his Separatist force a bit. The battle was an Intercept the Transmissions, and ended up a fair bit tighter than the previous one. Finished up and published our lasted Star Wars Legion battle report, coincidentally episode 023, just in time for 2023. Video is processing with YouTube currently, should be online on schedule Friday morning (or early access to all Patreon supporters). Separatists take on the Empire in a Hostage Exchange.

Since last week, I have renewed my efforts to exercise more and try to improve my health. It’s been close to two years since I routinely exercised, and admittedly even then it was only a few miles of walking. My goal this year is to make it routine, and slowly ramp up the exertion, hopefully balancing with the rest of life and events. To that end, since last week I have been getting up early in order to walk for a 30-minute span. It’s not excessive, and probably isn’t even that challenging for most, but it is exercise. On the…

It’s been a project on my to-do list for several months, but as of the start of the year, I have begun splitting out my existing YouTube material into several smaller channels. This involves a lot of re-uploading and configuring of additional presences, but hopefully will allow for a bit more focus on each channel. Star Wars material (Legion mainly) is unchanged, and is now the focus of the main channel. It is by far more popular than the other material, and the greatest draw of new subscribers, so it logically was the one to leave alone. I will be…

Posted this morning is the latest episode of our Extinction Curse campaign, with the climactic battle between the group and the Mummy Lord Dyzallen. This was particularly challenging, since the Cleric of the group has somehow gone to the dark side, and joined the enemy, working against the group in the last couple of encounters. Now they have to face off against the mummy lord, and the Cleric at the same time, while low on spells, health and resources. Unfortunately, the battle ran over our allotted time, so the conclusion will be during the next session. But the group was…
