Zombicide: Black Plague – The Black Book
Had a chance to play Zombicide Black Plague again yesterday, after a rather abbreviated Pathfinder session. Unfortunately, several of the regular players were unavailable, and another had to leave early, so we initially had planned to switch to Zombicide for the second half of the session. However, my packing organization sabotaged us, and I forgot…

Zombicide: Black Plague – Baldric the Wizard
The final figure of the latest batch to be finished with highlighting and detail is Baldric the Wizard, one of my personal favorite characters of the game (who doesn’t like the wizard?). I particularly like how the cloak turned out, rather worn and dirty, and the light grey hair and beard turned out nicely as…

Zombicide: Black Plague – Nelly the Barmaid
Second of the recent set to receive highlighting and details. Nelly had a bit more challenge and detail, which overall worked out pretty well. I am a little disappointed in the contrast between the dress and the apron, I tried to overly dry-brush the apron to try to whiten it up a bit more, but…

Zombicide: Black Plague – Ann the Nun
Finished the highlighting on Ann the Nun, and added the other details. Not completely happy with the face and head – my eyesight isnt clear enough to have noticed the poor quality of the habit around the face – but from a game-board distance the figure is rather detailed and nice. Overall, the figure is…

Baldric wasn’t too difficult either, though as before the detail around the face suffered from my eyesight and the paint obscuring the detail. I had some difficulty with the necromancer cloak color used for the cloak, which again was a…

Painting Zombicide – Nelly the Barmaid
Second of the current set of survivors, base coated and washed, but no highlights yet. Nelly was a bit more difficult – I spotted at least one section of her hair that was hidden and missed during the base coat. And the white shirt and apron blended into the light colored dress a bit too…

Painting Zombicide – Ann the Nun
Did a bit more painting of Zombicide figures last evening, so should have some content for the next several days. First stage was the base painting, and the shading, which then allows them to dry fully until highlighting tonight. And since I am a bit more in practice after my prior work with Clovis, I…

Prepping for more painting
Spent some time today, getting the next set of figures for Zombicide ready for painting. At this point, it is just the base plastic figure, but these are all currently drying from the primer, set to be painted over the next several weeks.
