I have started a process to rebrand my various channels and activities, to focus and update the content. This doesn’t change any of the format or content itself, consider it a fresh coat of paint instead. Part of this involves a rename of the YouTube channels, but also a new set of logos and colors.
Ultimately, the repetitive H13 logo across multiple platforms was working, but felt primitive and mechanical. I wanted more of a unique identify to each of the focus areas, and once I started down one road, multiple other paths opened up.
As a result, you may notice a few new graphics and layout choices on the website. I am also working on re-aligning the support material to match the new format.

On the YouTube side, I have already converted the Roleplaying side to the new “Dice & Deeds” branding. I feel this represents the tabletop environment, and our actual-play content in a much more modern way that the generic H13 Roleplay. At least partially coincidental, it also matches the “D&D” abbreviation we all associate closely with RPGs. That conversion is basically done, and you will see new graphic logos in future videos, including our next Warhammer session this Friday.

For the Tabletop Wargaming channel, I haven’t made the switch yet, but likely will once we have another battle report to process – tentatively this weekend. I am pretty much settled on “Dicey Maneuvers” as the title, graphics are prepared and ready to go, I just don’t want to do so until I have content to accompany it. Again, this really helps establish the independent nature of the content from my other channels.
The H13 Viewport channel is not currently being changed – there isnt any content and virtually no audience, so it is effectively in a coma currently. I may revisit that at some point, if I decide on a content format, but I am more inclined to instead add its associated content to the RPG side. Most of what I would want to talk about is our campaign diaries and gaming stories, or perhaps I will dive into GM advice. Something to maybe drive-up engagement on Dice and Deeds.
For the website, I will be posting video updates specific to each of the channels, which may make it easier to follow (rather than the generic youtube upload).
Ultimately, the H13 branding isnt disappearing, this is just a re-organization within the same umbrella. Etsy and this website remain as H13 Gaming, but now I will have subchannels within. Similarly, our Twitch entity isnt changing, partially because that is very hard to do without losing the audience, and because we may live-stream many different topics.
