A second Legion battle report and the next piece of the ongoing Warhammer FRP saga of The Enemy Within this week, as the main channel slows crawls closer to the target 1000 subscriber numbers.

First up, we have a new Star Wars Legion Battle Report, seeing Ben return and field an Empire list, against myself playing (rather poorly) a quick Separatist list. I typically play Empire, but when Ben claimed that faction, I had to quickly assemble an alternative. I settled on a large lightsaber contingent, with Dooku, Maul, and Assajj Ventress leading masses of B1 battle droids, some Droidekas, and a couple of Crab Droids. These faced off against Shoretroopers, Range Troopers, and a unit of Dark Troopers. Due to the sudden shift in forces, I had several notables errors in the start of the game, but overall both sides had fun – which is the important part.

On the RPG side, we have the next stage of the Enemy Within campaign. The heroes are trying to escape the city of Striessen, ideally without drawing too much more attention to themselves, as various forces begin to converge on the artifact they hold. They have determined that the hammer needs to be recharged if possible, and have clues as to the location, but enemies abound at every turn.

We have a bit of a break with the Kingmaker Pathfinder campaign, due to a series of scheduling conflicts, so those sessions will likely resume in April. The Warhammer campaign is tentatively aiming to wrap up by May, depending on the speed and actions of the group – we are moving quickly towards the conclusion. After that, we are laying the groundwork for a wholey new and original campaign using the Rolemaster Unified system, house rules and mechanics are posted here on the website.

Also planning to squeeze in another round of Legion this weekend, to publish next week – assuming I can find a willing player to join me.
