New Video Releases, 12/5/2025

With the holidays approaching, I am hoping to have more time to get caught up on the battle reports, though I expect other tasks and distractions will continue to get in the way. However, we do have a new Legion release this week.

In Star Wars Legion, we continue Tour of Duty battles with Evan fielding his Coruscant Guard register, against returning player Carter fielding the Hyper Logic Battalion for the Separatists. Both forces are starting clean with 600 points, putting us still in the Recon format. Despite the smaller size, the game doesn’t seem to play any faster, or perhaps it is just the mid-game socializing. Regardless, it was a fun game of back and forth, neither side really dominating in terms of eliminated units and the luck was hot and cold for both. Incidentally, we were unable to count apparently, and ended up running the game with 6 turns, instead of the official 5 turns, but the end results would have been the same – perhaps with one or two less defeated units.

On the RPG side, we have a vacation period right now, between the recent holiday and some scheduled time away for some of the players, both Kingmaker and The Enemy Within campaigns are on hold. I am still planning a time for chapter 2 of the Two-Headed Serpent Pulp Cthulhu game, and looking for time to kick off a Rolemaster storyline, but those are lower priorities currently.

Mordheim has still been happening, and that is the subject of the battle report backlog. I currently have one battle almost finished, and 2 additional fights recorded, I just have been suffering both in motivation and free time to finish them up.
