This week brings a host of new content, as we resume multiple TTRPG campaigns and I start to get caught up on our battle report backlog. For our RPG sessions, we have restarted our Twitch channel, if you care to watch live during our sessions (H13_Gaming – Twitch). Still tuning the audio, but I am much more comfortable with that stream at this point.
Our Warhammer FRP campaign continues, with the group deep in the lost valley, retracing the steps of Sigmar’s ascension and searching for the artifact, Ghal-Maraz. We ended the last session with a cliffhanger, and then had to pause for a few weeks, so this sees the conclusion of that encounter, and further mysteries in the cavern. Several disturbing areas are discovered, and the challenges faced by the group.
For our Pathfinder Kingmaker campaign, the group continues their battle against the Chimera, struggling against a particularly dangerous foe. That battle stretches them to their limits, only to begin a second dire battle. Lots of combat, and some struggles to maintain group morale, but the fate of the kingdom is in jeopardy if the group fails in its mission.
On the battle report front, we have a battle for Mordheim between the Restless Dead and the Shadow Warriors. These battles tend to be quick to record, but challenging to edit, so I have a bit of a backlog of material. This particular match was unique for running a full 8 turns, as both sides fought hard and valiantly to the end. Despite the elevation and ranged advantages of the Elves, the Undead horde made the fight rather intimidating, as they absorbed most of the withering attacks. Both players had a lot of fun, and the ending was fairly uncertain.
Moving into next week with the holidays, we will have another short break. We are between Kingmaker sessions, and Warhammer is paused for the holiday. I do have some new Bolt Action content planned for recording, this time to include a giveaway due to a shipping error, and I am expecting to get at least one or two Legion games in over the break. And there is at least a couple more Mordheim battles to process as well. Much of the issue at this point is the time to edit, and the availability of players.
Also working on some one-off RPG sessions, we need to tackle Chapter 2 of the Two-Headed Serpent, and I have a Rolemaster campaign prepared, but both are waiting for player availability.
