New Video Releases, 11/7/2025
On the tabletop front, we have a new Mordheim battle report, with the Carnival of Chaos taking on the Dwarf Treasure Hunters. This was a rather lopsided battle – the Carnival is a fraction of the battle strength of the Dwarves, but that was known going into the fight (and intentional). As a result of the fight, regardless of the results, all Carnival participants gained +3 experience, making the attempt well worth it. As expected, the battle was fast and bloody, though the results were not entirely predictable.
Over on the Roleplaying side, we have the next session of Warhammer, as the group concludes the events at the siege of Striessen. Despite their temptation to get retribution, they resolved the situation fairly peacefully, resulting in some unexpected good news from the besieging forces. Travelling on, they reached the Old Dwarf Road, and began the overland journey towards the pass. After a few miscellaneous encounters, they were engaged by the Purple Hand, now becoming much more aggressive and obvious in their attempts to stop the group.
Our Pathfinder Kingmaker campaign ended up being cancelled this week due to illness with several players, so no progression on that storyline.
Related, our Star Wars Legion effort is held up due to limitations in my editing time – we recorded a session Wednesday between the Separatists and the Empire, but I simply have not had time to process and edit the footage. This should be out next week, assuming no major issues. We also have a second Mordheim battle in process, with the Restless Dead taking on the Shadow Elves.
