New video releases, 11/14/2025
Its been a busy week with the near end of football season and numerous family events, but we managed to get a couple more games completed this week. Despite some newly released models for both Legion and Bolt Action, I have had very little time to paint or game, or work on much beyond the weekly commitments.
For Star Wars Legion, we have a new Tour of Duty battle between Josh’s Separatists, and my novice Empire force. We did end up making some fairly sizeable mechanics errors, but in discussion, it was two-sided. As a result, we did not opt to change the official winner at the end. Instead, we had a nail-biter of a battle, with the scored tied up right until the end. Both sides fought hard, and the dice were unforgiving.
In the Warhammer FRP campaign, our group finally arrives at Grenzstadt to an unexpected welcome, for gathering supplies and setting out into the Black Peak Pass. More historical details of Sigmar are revealed, and a new looming threat appears, as the group hopes to close in their goal of recovering Ghal Maraz.
In our Kingmaker campaign, we have a brief pause due to player illness, but our next session is scheduled this weekend. Upcoming, I am also laying out plans for a return to our Two-Headed Serpent Pulp Cthulhu storyline, hopefully around the December holidays, and trying to find an opening for our annual Twilight Imperium boardgame bonanza.
