Two-Headed Serpent Continues
Its been a while since our first two-day effort starting the Two-Headed Serpent, and a story I wanted to definitely continue. All the characters were decent, and the players had a lot of fun, but life had a way of getting into the schedule. Now that some personal issues have somewhat settled down with the players, and with the end of Football season approaching, I am going to start working on Chapter 2 of the story.
When we last left off, the group was on the plane, homeward bound from the efforts in Bolivia. They had successfully located and recovered the mummy they had been instructed to find, though not without plenty of action and more than a few bruised minds. Hans Krieger in particular suffered a full mental breakdown at the end of the scenario, recovering only barely due to the groups ability to defeat the gigantic snake.
For full details on the story, and our efforts at understanding the Pulp Cthulhu mechanics, refer to our game live-play recordings, archived for future adventurers on YouTube.
Conner Walsh will likely remain as a backup character, since the player has expressed very little to no interest in Cthulhu (insanity I tell you), which leaves our group likely at a full 7 characters. That gives us some flexibility if one or two players are unavailable for the scheduled sessions.
The rest of the cast managed to escape wounded, but partially recovered, ready to face off against the horrors and dangers that await them in… New York.
