The Horned Rat – Completed

Its been a long chapter, with chapter 5 of the Enemy Within Campaign. After 54 game sessions spanning more than a year of calendar time, the group has finished that section of the story, and the chronicle is published. At about 3-4 hours per session, it comes out to a significant amount of game time for the content. Admittedly our group is fond of sidetracks and subquests, but quite a bit of the extended “official” content was skipped or missed.

I won’t spoil the ending, but the fate of the Empire has likely been changed forever in our story. Some characters are lost, a few survived, but all required a significant cost. The ending was successfully unexpected, which is always entertaining.

We will be taking a brief break for the next couple of weeks while some new characters are created, but the group will be back with the final chapter of the campaign, Empire in Ruins.

In the meantime, we are initiating our Pulp Call of Cthulhu storyline on June 28, with the first adventure of the Two-Headed Serpent campaign. Large cast of solid characters, and a lot of prep-work has been done, so join us for the start of that exciting story.
