A second set of painted figured, working quickly thru my Empire backlog. First up is the Emperor and his Royal Guard. Nice and simple, only two or three colors and nothing fancy. Flesh-tearer Red and Black Templar for the Guard, and Black Templar, Wyldwood, and Plaguebearer Flesh for the Emperor. Also managed to finish up a full set of Scout Troopers, using the same approach as the Stormtroopers. An undercoat of Apothecary White, details of Black Templar, and a focused drybrush of Flat White. Been doing a bit of painting recently, trying out a few new techniques, and managed to finish up a number of Empire units. First and most importantly is finally painting Darth Vader. Especially for how simple the color scheme is, I really should have done this one much earlier. Primary color is just a basic Black Templar contrast over the entire body, the picking out some details. A recent addition to the YouTube channel has been the Community tab, which is rapidly becoming fairly useful. Although the options are fairly limited, it is nice to be able to directly tie into the subscribers and reference the various content items I publish. In particular, it is very useful for basic voting polls. And this provides another source of potentially growing the audience. Effective last Friday, I have disabled by Twitter integration and disabled the overall accounts. In truth, Twitter has just not really ever been much of a thing for me. The site account has a sum-total of 10 followers, most of which are organizations not related to my subject matter, and i have never had any real interaction with or thru the tool. For the users I do follow, I rarely even look at the feed. I find Twitter to be either way too random with ads and streams, or completely irrelevant to the information I am trying to see. The…

If you haven’t been keeping up with the Warhammer storyline, we resume the campaign tonight with a large-scale battle over the coalmines of Black Peaks. Originally, this was founded by a clan of dwarves, but in recent times it was sold to a wizard who wanted to move into the area. The locals consider it a fair and legal sale, but the dwarves are convinced that the wizard bewitched them and have now stolen all the gold they know (but never found) exists in the tunnels. Thanks to an open schedule, and willing players, we have many new Legion battle reports on the way. I have the next two videos ready to go, pending on YouTube, and a 3rd one to edit down, plus another game scheduled for tonight. Should easily take us into November, with the current release schedule. Several of the games are using the new IG-88 and Din Djarin models, Din is proving to be a powerhouse figure.
