It may have been noticed (it has been by me), that my content, for what its worth, has been a bit more spotty recently. I can blame it on numerous reasons – the holidays, work, science fair, etc – but in truth it is mainly due to distractions in the form of video games.
Over the holidays, we jumped into the pre-release game Atlas, as a general successor to Ark: Survival Evolved. Although the game mechanics are very similar (survive against the wild), the pirate theme and ship sailing mechanics are very well done. We spend a lot of time grinding and gathering, but once you have a ship and are sailing the seas, it really opens up the dynamics.
However, as a result, I find many hours slipping away, and only realize that I missed posting anything until well after my deadline.
Hopefully I can reverse that trend this week, I am away from my gaming computer this week, so I cant be tempted by the game. This should allow me to get back into a routine and habit again.
