Snow park beats GURPs

As previously mentioned, we changed our calendar in favor of a Boy Scout snow park trip, instead of the usually scheduled GURPs Warhammer game.  Although not everyone ended being able to attend, those that did had a fun time.  Weather was overcast and threatening rain, but it never arrived, and the day stayed a comfortable 50 degrees.  I was concerned about how much snow and ice the location would have, but apparently their snow making machines had been working overtime, and it was not much of an issue.

Although my youngest tried to learn to snowboard (and did remarkable well), eventually our little group ended up just hanging at the inner-tube ramp.  There they spent the day riding to the top, and sliding back down as a group.  The rest of the Boy Scouts scattered and tried their hands at skiing or snowboarding, but overall I believe everyone had a great time.

Next week we are back to the Pathfinder campaign, and then targeting the real start of the GURPs campaign after that.
